Just a quick message about memberships:

We would like to stress to all members how important the prompt payment of memberships is, particularly in the unusual circumstances in which we find ourselves at present.

Whilst we have managed to run some functions, due to the (not inconsiderable) efforts of those organising them, these have been fewer and further between than we would all like. Several functions and parties have been postponed as people look to protect their friends and relatives from the potential harm of the Covid-19 virus.

Whislt we recognise that it may seem like a long way in the future before competitive rugby may return to us, the club still have to pay the bills along the way and with the lack of revenue through the bar the club will be depending heavily on the membership subscriptions to enable it to meet it’s financial obligations. Grounds, heating and lighting, facilities and insurance are all still required regardless of the lack of rugby or functions.

The cost of a membership for a full year for a registered adult player is less than a pound a week, for a family of four the cost is less than 50 pence per person per week.  We’re  sure you will all agree that this is excellent value.

There are offers for reduced prices for kit.  Due to the uncertainty of the return to competitive rugby we are intending to hold the offer of a kit package open until December. Therefore only the usual annual subscription need be committed at present.

Please make an effort to pay your membership by the end of the month.

  • You can do so by following the link to our website:  http://uppereden.rfu.club/products,
  • Alternatively you can made payment by BACS : Account Name-Upper Eden RUFC, Account-53350436, Sort Code-20 04 68, Ref: your surname,
  • Otherwise you can pay over the bar at Pennine Park when it is open.

Thank You
